Interface follows the MFII standard, in accordance with DIN 2137. It is plug-compatible to all PC workstations via PS/2 or alternatively with USB interface
Integrated features: (1) OCR reader - Bi-directional swipe reader for all ICAO conform travel documents, ID cards, Passports, Visas as well as TAT, ATB1 + ATB2 tickets. (2) MSR - Magstripe reader - Uni-directional swipe reader for all magnetic based cards and documents, ATB1/2 tickets, credit and debit cards as well as any type of customer and service card. (3) BCR Bar code reader - simply connect any bar code scanner, handheld or stationary to the OCR5000S and the on board decoder will decode all 1D and 2D bar codes such as Code 39, 2 of 5 IATA, Code 128, PDF 417, Aztech
E-passports - The new ICAO compliant, biometric passports with RF-Chips “e-Passports” is specified. With the OCR5000S in connection with the e-5000 e-Passport reader your manual stations will be ready for the future of biometric passports
